Privacy Policy

This website is operated by PROINFO PTY LTD (ACN 683 574 905, ABN 61 683 574 905), trading as ProForge("ProForge", "we", "us", "our"), based in Melbourne, Victoria. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

We collect personal information you give us, and a small amount automatically:

• Contact form: your name, email, business name, and the message you send.
• Project brief: the business and project details you provide if you start an onboarding brief.
• Free audit tool: the website address or business name you enter, and your email address if you ask us to send the report.
• Automatically: basic technical data such as IP address, device and browser information, and error logs, used to keep the site secure and working.

Please don't send sensitive information (such as government IDs or financial account numbers) through the forms on this site.

We use personal information to:

• reply to your enquiry and prepare a brief or quote;
• run the audit you requested and email you the report;
• operate, secure, and improve the website;
• meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't use it for unrelated marketing.

We use a small set of trusted service providers to run the site. They only handle your information to provide their service to us:

• Vercel (website hosting and delivery);
• Resend (sending the audit report and reply emails);
• Anthropic, accessed via the Vercel AI Gateway (AI processing used to generate the audit; configured for zero data retention);
• Google PageSpeed Insights (performance measurement of the URL you audit);
• Cal.com (only if you book a call) and Stripe (only if you make a payment).

Some of these providers are located overseas, mainly in the United States. Where we disclose information overseas, we take steps that are reasonable in the circumstances to have it handled consistently with the APPs.

If you connect a Google account (brokers and agents using the ProForge dashboard do this; audit visitors do not), ProForge requests access to your Google Calendar so the AI scheduler can work. We use it to:

• read your availability (free and busy times) so the assistant offers callers real open slots; and
• create and update appointment events on your calendar when a booking is made.

We request the Google Calendar scope only. We do not access your Gmail, contacts, files, or any other Google data. You can disconnect Google at any time from Settings, which revokes our access.

ProForge's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google Calendar data only to provide and improve the scheduling features in ProForge. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, we do not transfer it to anyone except as needed to provide the service or as required by law, and we do not let people read it unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security, or the law requires it.

We use only the cookies and similar storage needed for the site to function and stay secure (for example, remembering your light or dark theme). We don't use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, then take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

You can ask for access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us. We'll respond within a reasonable time. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version always lives at this page, with the effective date above.
